Leopards are nocturnal predators so seeing one or several during daylight hours is precipitated by baiting. It is thrilling never the less, as we drove through the bush in an open jeep type vehicle, pretty soon I sighted several leopards in the bush or silently stalking looking for food.

My husband, myself, and a friend of ours were sitting in our vehicle, when our friend sited lions in the bush eating their kill. We turned off the engine and sat there and waited, while nine lions came out of the bush to drink from this puddle in the road, a few were on either side of the vehicle and I realized our windows were down. PANIC! I couldn't get my window to go up, it seemed to be stuck, but alas, up it went, to my relief. Whew!
